Modern online payment systems provide additional functionalities for customers and traders

The online ticketing is booming, more and more people by entrance tickets for events on the internet. Both sides, traders as well as end customers profit from this sales channel. The visitor can conclude the ticket purchase quickly and often print the tickets at home (“print@home“). Efficient value chain

In cooperation with the payment provider Wirecard CEE and an international software provider for the ticketing area, immediate transfer can be integrated quickly and easily into existing selling portals. This type of payment additionally does no longer permit any return debits, the customer can no longer claim the money after the event.
The problem that reserved tickets are not picked up is also omitted, reserved tickets are already paid for, event managers and traders do not take a chance. A further use lies in the efficient value chain. “The entire booking process is automated with IMMEDIATE transfer (SOFORT Überweisung), each payment can be allocated to an order, even with identical ticket prices. This is particularly important with cancellations of events, in order to be able to handle reverse transfers correctly” explains Christian Renk, managing director of Sofort Austria.

An originally stationary trader
However, the subject payment and a consistently digitised value chain has as a high relevance for the entire trade area. The franchise business “Vom Fass” located in Dornbirn is specialised on high-quality food and and luxury food items, which have been offered for some years via an internet shop. As an originally stationary trader, the business could not fall back on any internal experience for design and implementation of an online shop and required a payment service provider with corresponding resources as well as experience and know-how.

Vom Fass selected Wirecard CEE as its partner, the primary bases for the decision were thereby the uncomplicated connection to the existing shop system and the also internationally supported expertise with the selection of the payment means to be used. An essential criterion was also the flexibility regarding future expansions in the area Mobile Commerce through the continually increasing use of smartphones.
“Wirecard again and again provides information which supports us with further decisions and competent administrators are available for queries”, says Bernhard Kuster, owner of Vom Fass.
