In parallel to the fast distribution of smartphones, the communication via social media also increases. According to the Mobile Communication Report 2015, the well-known SMS is also part of the popular applications. Trade companies again prefer the SMS channel for shipping confirmations or action reminders. “Our customers appreciate the SMS as reliable and modern”, says Simon Bittel of the AMICA Parfümerie.
The Swiss town Uster shows efficiency through mobile communication in the public sector, where SMS services are used for alarming public authorities, in the area of IT infrastructure or for the authentication of the external jobs. “As soon as a business or an institution wants to put across reliability, security and customer orientation, there is no way round personalised SMS communication”, adds Buchner.
