New companies focus on product and customers at launch, and external service providers are often responsible for all other business-areas.

Start-Ups experience a premium regard, founding a company has become easier and the Internet creates a global market at the touch of a button. Bandwidths and technological innovations meanwhile make new forms possible for company management and construction, especially in the trade and services sector.
Own resources are used more and more exclusively for product and customer requirements. Business-relevant areas such as merchandise management, logistics, accounting or money transfer are outsourced to external service providers. The start base for Internet trade is usually the shop system, and standardized solutions used by many customers, which then have to be compatible and flexibly expandable.

Plug and Play or individual programming
"Just Taste", a Start-Up for the wine trade, uses "Shopware" for their online shop. The central requirement was the synchronous combinability with the externally operated ERP system, the project and personnel management as well as other services in the area of payment. "There are now standards and this also applies to payment, which includes credit cards and PayPal, and we use what people use most," says Dietmar Pirolt of Just Taste.
"Kilocoach", a portal concerning health and food, relies on the internationally-wide used and correspondingly standardized Wirecard checkout solution with extensions for mobile use and cash register function. The use of products and the corresponding target group must be clear to know where and how these customers can be reached in the best possible way”, says Rosa Aspalter, medical doctor and founder of kilocoach.com.
In the new Bogentandler portal, the online shop has more than 2500 products all about archery on an open-source system, which meant that there was no ready-to-fit payment module. A separate solution was programmed and integrated together with Wirecard CEE. "Each shop should provide appropriate resources for customer service. Top priority is to keep complaints low, only this ensures quality standards and the preservation of margins", emphasizes René Hofmann, Managing Director of Bogentandler.
